Being a client of Jarael's, however, means much more than impersonal occasions for annual personal tax returns and financial compliance. It's through Jarael's tireless efforts to establish a movement of financial wellness throughout his hometown of Southfield, Michigan, and the greater Detroit area, where he provides an experience for individuals, families, and businesses that is second to none. Helping to open his client's eyes to the endless possibilities that stand before them regardless of background or where they are launching from, Jarael walks clients through the power of effective budgeting aimed towards cash savings, investing, and the development of strategic tax strategies for self-employed individuals and small businesses, building priceless trust which he never takes for granted.

 

Pouring back into the community that poured into him during his formative years and continues to serve his children and family today, Jarael motives his clients to not only envision but to make strategic strides in their financial future without excuse. Delivering a customized approach to every person whose trust he earns, he shifts mindsets from money intimidation, instability, and unsteadiness to mindsets of enthusiasm and confidence on the financial journey toward success. Personally and professionally, securing family is at the forefront of Jarael’s life mission.

Jarael is focused incessantly on serving as a catalyst for his community; motivating aspiring entrepreneurs to take the leap of faith in pursuing their own dreams in the face of adversity and uncertainties which often hold people back. 

 

Investing in his own endeavors has proven worthy in his life and because of that decision to bet on himself, Jarael consistently progresses toward becoming a change agent in his industry. He doesn’t stop unearthing methods to elevate his client experiences. For him, that means presenting and evolving virtual technology processes in order to maintain accessibility to clients without location barriers. For clients within the community, that means offering a professional safe space where clients are welcomed and embraced by the Major Refunds team and are provided an immersive and comprehensive face-to-face experience that nurtures respect, comfort, and trust. For his own family, that means continually building his business into a sustainable resource that will serve his family and many others for generations to come. 

 

Driven by the motto, "The key to success is to focus on the goals, not the obstacles…,” Jarael finds solutions for his clients by any means necessary while always holding steadfast to his hopeful legacy. Through the constant development of authentic relationships, Jarael maintains a keen eye for not only adult financial literacy and wealth goals, but that of the youth, by working to develop effective outreach programs that introduce financial literacy conversations into homes and schools as early as possible. It’s in the fine details where Jarael exemplifies excellence and unwavering patience to produce the biggest impact in people’s lives. It’s through his promise, loyalty, and dedication to financial unity and health for all people that have already uplifted hundreds and has led to more dreams fulfilled than he’s ever imagined. 

 

Jarael is an alumnus of Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. He is an active and proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., National Association of Black Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and Michigan State University Black Alumni Association.)
